Delete your Ol-sot account
This page explains how to delete your account in the Ol-sot app, what data is removed, and how long anything is kept afterwards.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app
- Open the Ol-sot app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when you are asked to.
Your account is deleted immediately. No further steps and no confirmation from us are required. This action cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Ask us to delete it
If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app installed, email us at support@olsot.uz with the subject line "Account deletion" and include the phone number registered to your account.
We verify the request to make sure it comes from the account owner, then delete the account within 7 days. We will confirm by email once it is done.
What gets deleted
Everything below is permanently removed within 30 days of the deletion request:
- Your name and phone number
- Your password
- Your profile, language preference, and notification settings
- Your saved favorites
- Your push notification token
- Your conversations with the AI assistant
What we keep, and for how long
- Records required by law — where the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan requires us to retain certain records, we keep only those records, for the period the law prescribes, and use them for no other purpose.
- Anonymised statistics — aggregate counts (for example, how many listings were viewed in a month) may be retained indefinitely. These contain no information that can identify you.
- Encrypted backups — deleted data may persist in routine backups for up to 30 days before those backups expire and are overwritten.
