Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the "Ol-sot" mobile application (the "App") collects, uses, and protects the personal data of its users. By using the App, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Data we collect

1.1. Data you provide

• Phone number and password — used to create your account and sign you in. Passwords are stored on our server in encrypted form.
• Name — provided during sign-up and shown in your profile.
• Messages you send to the AI assistant — sent to our server in order to generate a response to your question.

1.2. Data collected automatically

• Push notification token — a unique identifier assigned to your device so we can deliver notifications.
• Device type and operating system version — used to deliver notifications correctly and to diagnose errors.
• In-app activity — listings you add to Favorites and your selected language.

1.3. Data we do not collect

• Precise location (GPS)
• Your contact list, SMS messages, or call history
• Photos from your device — the App does not upload images and does not request access to your photo library
• Payment card details — the App does not process payments

2. How we use your data

• To create and secure your account
• To display and search listings, and to store your favorites
• To let sellers verify who is contacting them about a listing
• To send you relevant notifications
• To answer your AI assistant requests
• To fix errors and improve the quality of the service
• To prevent fraud and policy violations

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Sharing with third parties

Your data is shared only with the service providers required for the App to function:

• Expo (Expo Push Notification Service) and Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — to deliver push notifications.
• Our server and hosting provider — to store data.
• Competent government authorities — only where required by law.

4. Data retention and security

Your authentication token is kept in your device's secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain). All communication with our server is encrypted over HTTPS. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where the law requires us to retain it.

No system is 100% secure. Never share your password with anyone, and do not reuse it on other websites.

5. Your rights

• Access and correction — you can change your profile information in the App at any time.
• Deletion — you can delete your account and its associated data via Profile → Delete account. This action cannot be undone. See how to delete your account for the full procedure and retention periods.
• Opting out of notifications — you can turn notifications off in your profile settings or in your phone settings.
• Requesting a copy — write to us to request a copy of the data we hold about you.

6. Children's privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we discover that we have collected such data, we delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page.
